The 10th Session of the Joint Permanent Commission for Cooperation (JPCC) between Rwanda and Kenya kicked off today in Nairobi.

Over the next three days, delegates will take stock of existing areas of cooperation between the two countries and explore new avenues for further collaboration.

The two delegations explored opportunities to strengthen institutional linkages in areas including strategic leadership, capacity building, bilateral trade, defence cooperation and joint educational initiatives.

JPCC marks another milestone in the strengthening of Rwanda-Kenya relations, following high-level reciprocal visits, the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding, and enhanced collaboration in capacity building and skills development. (End)
